A Vintage Dimple Golf Ball mounted on a silver plated Stand and surmounted with Kings Crown & Enamel Red Cross and St Johns Star. Embossed letters state ORDER OF ST JOHN & BRITISH RED CROSS. Crossed Golf clubs with Kings Crown above. Great piece of social history. Golf events like Professional Golfers Display Matches or Match Play events were organised as fund raisers during both World Wars. This piece is from the 2nd World War and possibly given to one of the Professional Players taking part that day.Stands 4in tall. Great Condition £125.00

This is an amazing piece of work all Hand decorated hand coloured just like the Old Illuminated Book of Kells.
The Ryder Cup Took place in Muirfield that year Bernard Hunt was the British Captain and J.Burke was the American Captain. USA won 19 points to 13.
This is a one off piece of Ryder Cup History and really should be in a Museum somewhere.
Framed and Glazed the size is 15in by 14in.

The front of the Jug in red is JOHNNIE WALKER. The base has GLENEAGLES 63.Size 5in high. Perfect condition.

A well modelled Ladies Hat Pin stand. Made in solid silver with assay mark for Birmingham 1912. The Golf Bag with a club rests against a Tree Trunk. The silver base contains a velvet pad for pins. There is a registration number 504996 which gives the date when this model was first patented 1909/10. Stands 5in tall. Makers initials S&Co.
